Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all that attended our Annual Family Picnic.
Once again our members displayed their Community spirit by sharing food with one another.
Special thanks to Sandy for the mid-day snack (yummy Chole) and afternoon “Chai” and cake. Thanks to Arnold and Mary Ann (Lolly) for organizing the games for the children and the adults. Also thanks to Anthony and Shirley for playing the music which was enjoyed by all, who danced like there was no tomorrow. Thanks also to Barbara, Zelma and Queenie for leading the group in Yoga and Zumba.
Soccer was played with Peter Perdek and Arnold D’Costa as Captains for their teams. The game ended in a tie at 5 goals scored by each team, extra time decided nothing, and penalty shoot-out solved nothing, so the Teams decided to call it a “Draw” in show of very good “Sportsmanship”.
If we, the Committee, forgot to thank anyone else that displayed their Community Spirit, Sorry.
The Picnic ended at around 8pm. Again thank you all that came out to make it a great success.
