Out with the old, and in with the New…Year that is. The Canorient Christian Association hosted its New Year’s Eve Party at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Hall.
This year’s theme was “A Black & White Affair“. Dressed in their finest, everyone enjoyed the yummy appetizers, delicious dinner with dessert and mouth-watering midnight snack, all catered by Edrin from “Lobo’s Goa Portuguese”.
Most of the evening was spent dancing to the music of DJ David from Squiggly Sounds. Young and old appreciated the door prizes, liquor basket and glow-in-the-dark activities. 2013 was brought in with Grand March, led by Errol Rebeiro, and everyone was on the floor, wearing their party hats/tiaras and necklaces/leis, blowing horns and squawkers, drinking champagne and singing Auld Lang Syne! It was a wonderful way to say farewell to 2012 and bring in 2013.
