On behalf of the 2019-2020 Canorient Committee, I would like to thank everyone who attended our Membership Appreciation event on Saturday, May 25. Joel Lobo, our DJ for the evening, for keeping us on our feet and grooving all evening.
MaryAnne Perdek, our very talented crafter, for sharing her time, talent and materials and teaching us how to make beautiful cards.
Noor Tazeem, the beautiful lady from Lahore, who made our hands look pretty with intricate henna patterns.
Hatim and Nafisa, our Bohri friends, who brought some lovely goat curry, mutton paneer and butter chicken.
Felix and Vicky D’Souza, for the delicious haleem and sharing information about Kyani products.
Sandy Almeida, for her famous samosas and chutney sandwiches. We would be incomplete without these!
Peggy D’Souza, for the very yummy gol gappa, chole and bun kababs.
Sandra Vaz-Gonsalves, for the chicken patties, beef tongue, cake and of course, the hot buns!
Ginette Edirisinghe, for the delicious chicken/beef rolls, noodles and chicken curry.
Roselyn D’Costa, for the biryani, kabab rolls and bun kababs. They are always a hit!
I have only named a few key items from each of the vendors, but there is no doubt in my mind that they all put many hours of preparation, hard work and love into their efforts. THANK YOU very much! We appreciate YOU!

Also, a very big thank you to all the members who helped with setup and/or cleanup of the hall. Many hands make work light and your effort to pick chairs, tables and/or sweep and mop the floors helps to make our volunteering easier. THANK YOU!
For those of you who were unable to attend, I am sorry you missed out. Please remember to sign-up/renew your membership soon. Starting on June 1, we will update our email distribution list with the new list of members and do not want you to miss out on communication!
